Life is a journey for those that fear God forever trying to make it into heaven, while others are doing whatever it takes to enjoy a life that will soon pass away. The Bible says,  to those that love their life shall loose their life, but to those that have given up their life for God  shall have life and life eternal.

Running. I hear something hit the ground. I turn around and see a baton bounce in slow motion. Focusing on the chaos, I did not see the runner fly past me. Spectators point towards the runner who dropped the baton. I look away from the baton to see the runner too far gone to call his name or was it she? I turn to see the baton make its final bounce before resting where it dropped. Everything happening so fast, it felt like slow motion. I run towards the baton. The silent crowd begins to cheer. Feeling the might of a second wind, I turn, baton gripped tightly in my hand. I run flanked on both sides by faces flashing by. To my right, the first image I see is the face of a child waving and smiling. As I run faster, I see the faces of old men and old women with tears in their eyes, clapping hands with fingers gnarled by…
